Designing and developping the acoustic beamforming emulator is a challenge of a complete research team. The work has been done by the following team:
- Laurent Segers: the main developper of the first emulator versions and the first online emulator tool.
- Jurgen Vandendriessche: developped the visualisation tool which renders the results of the beamformings.
- Benjamin Lapauw: developped the Quarter microphone array (ref) and compared the results of emulations with captured data from microphones.
- Thibaut Vandervelden: developped the main code to generate FPGA-VHDL code for faster implementations on FPGAs.
- Bruno da Silva: tested the tool and worked with the UMAP microphone array.
- Prof. Ir. Abdellah Touhafi and Prof. An Braeken: supervised the thesis of the abovementioned researchers and students.
